Dr. Nasim Tishbi earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry from Stern College at Yeshiva University, where she built a strong foundation in the biological sciences that would shape her future in dental medicine. She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, one of the nation’s leading dental institutions.
Driven by her passion for dentistry and her commitment to serving a diverse patient population, Dr. Tishbi completed a rigorous two-year General Practice Residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. During this time, she gained extensive hands-on experience managing complex dental cases while providing comprehensive care to patients from a wide range of backgrounds.
Dedicated to specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of dental pain and disease, Dr. Tishbi continued her advanced education at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where she earned both her Advanced Specialty Certificate in Endodontics and a Master of Dental Science degree. This advanced training equipped her with the clinical expertise and academic depth required to deliver the highest standard of endodontic care.
To further expand her knowledge of restorative and implant-based treatment planning, particularly for compromised, cracked, and structurally damaged teeth, Dr. Tishbi also completed a comprehensive training program in Implant Dentistry through the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). This interdisciplinary training allows her to take a comprehensive, whole-patient approach when evaluating treatment options, including whether a tooth can be preserved through root canal therapy or requires alternative restorative solutions.
Dr. Tishbi’s passion for research and education has also led her to serve as a part-time faculty member at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where she enjoys teaching and mentoring the next generation of dentists and endodontists.
Dr. Tishbi is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, a distinction that signifies the highest level of achievement in the specialty. As a board-certified endodontist, she is deeply committed to maintaining the highest standards of excellence in endodontic care.
She is also an active member of the American Association of Endodontists and the American Dental Association, ensuring she remains at the forefront of advancements, techniques, and research in endodontics and dental medicine.
